To demonstrate how everyday actions can create a lasting impact, Worthington Enterprises hosted a series of events across our locations during Earth Week 2026 and embraced the theme “Small Steps. Big Impacts.” Through personal eco-pledges and shared learning, employees reinforced the idea that becoming a more sustainable company does not happen just by stating a strategy, but by the actions we take and the choices we make every day.
At our corporate headquarters, a Sustainability Showcase helped bring our sustainability strategy to life. Employees explored how teams across the enterprise are advancing initiatives through our four pillars: People, Products, Process & Planet and Partners. Interactive displays and conversations highlighted efforts to design more sustainable products, improve operational efficiency, strengthen supplier partnerships and engage employees in building a more sustainable future.
Throughout the week, employees committed to practical actions such as reducing energy use, composting food waste, planting gardens and minimizing waste. The showcase equipped employees with ideas they could bring beyond the workplace, from responsible waste disposal at home to resource conservation in their communities.
Earth Week reflected what we believe at Worthington: that meaningful change happens through continuous commitment. Every conversation, eco-pledge and small action contributes to a larger collective effort. It demonstrates that when we are empowered to act, small steps become measurable progress.
