Worthington Integrated Building Systems

The Dietrich Construction Group has evolved into Worthington Integrated Building Systems by integrating best-in-class products and methodologies to deliver superior, end-to-end framing solutions for residential construction. Through the construction group, Dietrich Building Systems refined a proprietary systems integration approach to mid-rise framing. Now through Worthington-IBS, that expertise is available to a broader range of applications, including military and single-family housing.

For residential architects and developers, Worthington-IBS represents the most comprehensive framing solution on the market by combining the design, engineering and construction know-how of the entire family of Worthington companies into one fully integrated and streamlined business segment.

This simplified approach offers the efficiency of centralized project management, the cost savings of a flat, tightly managed supply chain and a single point of accountability for all facets of a project. Each division in Worthington-IBS will focus on a specific market opportunity: Mid-rise, military housing and single-family housing.

Worthington-IBS is framing hotels, assisted living facilities, dormitories and multi-family housing structures up to nine stories across the country through its mid-rise division. Dietrich Residential Construction worked with many developers in the U.S. military's housing privatization program. Now, Worthington-IBS will take the proven success of projects in military bases in Hawaii and concentrate on the mainland. Single-family housing has the opportunity to leverage the structural advantages of steel framing, particularly to homebuilders in areas prone to hurricanes, earthquakes and termites.
