Richard G. Welch joined Worthington Industries in September of 1999 as assistant controller and was named controller in March of 2000.
Before joining Worthington, Welch served in various accounting and financial reporting capacities with Time Warner Cable including assistant controller from March 1999 through September 1999. Prior to that he worked for Ernst & Young from 1984 to 1990.
Welch graduated from Brigham Young University in 1984 with a degree in accounting and earned his CPA designation in 1986.
Welch currently serves on the Simon Kenton Council Board of the Boy Scouts of America. He is married and has five children.
