John R. Kasich

John R. Kasich has served as an associate with Schottenstein Stores Corporation, a retail holding company since November 2008.

A former Ohio state senator and member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mr. Kasich played major roles in a variety of groundbreaking achievements during his 18 years in Congress. As chairman of the House Budget Committee, he was the chief architect of the plan that balanced the federal budget and eliminated the federal deficit in 1997. After serving in Congress, Mr. Kasich became a contributor to the Fox News Channel and served as managing director of Lehman Brothers'/Barclays Capital's investment banking group.

Mr. Kasich is author of two New York Times best selling books, Stand for Something: The Battle for America's Soul and Courage is Contagious. In addition to Worthington Industries, Mr. Kasich serves as director of Invacare Corporation.
